A bit concerned

Hi guys, just wondered, when adding my foods into My Fitness Pal, do I ignore my calorie intake? For some reason it’s set at 1,200 per day and I’ve added breakfast and lunch and I’m over already 😱

I would say calorie tracking is for interest only when on LCHF, whatever app you're using. Your calorie intake is (or should be) determined entirely by your appetite, so I'd either fudge the calorie "limit" to something more respectable (if that's possible) or just ignore it.

You'll most likely find that your body demands somewhere between 60-80% of your "expected" daily calorie expenditure, without you making any conscious effort to reduce it.

I wouldn’t say I’m eating loads, I’ve had salmon salad for lunch but because I add cheese and mayo the calories soar because of the fat, catch 22 as they say
