Itching

I recently had a renal cancer removed from my right kidney. The left kidney is small and doesn't work too well. I thought that there was enough kidney remaining to work normally, but recently I have been itching all over my body. My dermatologist told me that it may be because what's left of my both kidneys may not be removing all toxins from my blood. So I've just gone in for a blood test and am worried that my may have to go onto dialysis.
