It's been a year for us that my son has been diagnosed and there is a lot to keep track on : injection schedule, appointments, blood tests.. results? We tried to use a shared calendar and notes on our phones but it's very inconsistent to capture all info and it mainly relies on me to focus and drive everything. And then you meet with your rheumatologist and you need to sum up 3-4 months of your kid life. Would you happen to have any tips for me please? Thanks

How do you keep track of everything for your JIA Kid?
Sorry can’t offer any magic solution. Managing my RA and my daughters JIA does feel like a full time job sometimes. I, like you, use the calendar and notes on my phone and set reminders for injections.
I know some would use the Rheumabuddy app to track symptoms but I haven’t tried it so can’t say how good it is.
Thank you for your reply, I need to find a way to make it easier so I can stop stressing about this. I hope your daughters and yourself are well and safe. We are working from home and decided to go with an online homeschool last September. Altogether, in a more controlled environment we are seeing great progress. Take care
Hi. My daughter has JIA and the first year can seen quite overwhelming with appointments and trying to remember her pain/flare etc. I brought her special notebook that we used a pain/symptom diary helped to record how she was most days. There is also an app called Rheumabuddy that you can fill in on behalf your son, again this records pain and other symptoms. For the appointments I had about three calendars around the house with all the dates in and made sure I had notifications come up on my phone. All I can say is the number of appointments do reduce and become more spread out. If you need any further advice please do contact me, I am the Young Persons Project Co-ordinator at NRAS. Best Wishes Debbie
Thank you for the recommendation and your comforting words. It has been quite overwhelming indeed! I've just installed Rheumabuddy. Take care and talk to you soon.
