About JIA-at-NRAS
This community is for anyone affected by the condition, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). It is run by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) and HealthUnlocked and exists to help you find support and information from other people living with or affected by JIA. This is an independent, patient led, forum so please take time to read our community guidelines which you can read under ‘Pinned Posts’.
NRAS are a UK based charity providing support, information, and advocacy for people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, their families, friends, and carers. Our vision is for everyone with JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) and RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) to be able to live their life to the full.
We have a helpline which is open Mon-Fri, 9.30am - 4.30pm and is free for landlines: 0800 298 7650 or email helpline@nras.org.uk

- You/ Others are posting from personal experience, not making treatment suggestions/ offering medical advice
- This forum does not replace the relationship between you and your/ your child's doctor or healthcare team
- Be aware that medications and treatment regimens will vary person-to- person, often considerably
- No political content please
- Let's focus on individual health experiences
- This community should not be used for commercial or personal promotion
- No selling, no fundraising, no spam
