has anyone had indium labeling, then splenectomy, and are you itp remission?

Nobody has anwered you which is maybe because splenectomies are going out of fashion in the UK. It's an antiquated treatment. Dr Provan who is the UKs primary ITP expert no longer does splenectomies which perhaps shows the way things are going.

For me, I did do the induim study 5 or so years ago and it came back with hepatic sequestration which pleased me no end as I had no intention of having a splenectomy anyway.

No test as I'm in Ireland and they don't do one I had a successful splenectomy and in remission so have loads of people I have come to meet from ITP groups on Facebook I disagree with the first answer
