anyone tested positive for helico bacter in breath test?

i just got positive results from the breath test confirming that i have the helicobracter (excuse spelling!)bacteria present in my stomach which may be a cause of itp. i begin simple treatment for this tomorrow. has anyone had a similar experience and how did it effect your blood levels afterwards?

I had the test but proved negative for me. Sounds as though this could be the cause of your ITP.

I tested negative too. It's actually quite rare that treating it helps the ITP so don't get your hopes up too high.

I tested positive, any was treated about three years ago. A specialist told me people who suffer from this have higher incidence of lymphoma? My blood tests go up and down all the time.

only been treated the once. been retested and shows no helibactor present at this time.
