Our little boy was diagnosed at 3 months old and currently has a count around 20. He's just like his sister developing quickly sitting unaided and trying to crawl. Desperate to stop him hurting himself without hampering his efforts to crawl/walk to anyone have any ideas or tips to help?

Anybody have experience with itp in a 6 month old ?

When our son was a toddler we took the usual baby proofing a little further such as corner cushions (foam) on tables, drawers, bed frame edges etc. we also changed our interior door handles to round knob style ones, even so little boy's have to be little boy's!
hi, my little boys a bit older, got diagnosed a month ago at 22m and his levels are at 11 at the moment, but its very hard at any young age to keep them safe, especially boys. i think like lisa said, taking the baby proofing to an extreme. ive found we have gone back to baby proofing as had begun to relax it a lot with him being older, have removed anything he can climb onto or push over and rearanged the furniture a bit so he has as little in his way as possible, still he trys to do headstands and rollypollys and keeps headbutting the floor. with the learning to walk id try and put lots of playmats down, and get some good reigns for outside, maybe try and take him to soft play areas a bit or on soft grass. hopefully his levels will improve soon and he can start to run riot without giving you a heartattack each time x
Use healmet (Thudgaurd) it will be helpful
