How high was ur mcv and is it still high? r u anemic as well or just with high mcv and itp?

yes .. it's up to like 12.8 .. I am stalled 44k / 50k with 50mg. promacta and 200mg. danazol with no bruises or those red spots .. praying for remission so I can get off the drugs

giz I thought you meant MPV .. which is MEAN PLATELET VOLUME .. I now now nothing of MCV .. I have low platelets

MCV refers to RBC volume, normal range is 81-90fL..MPV ,(mean platelet volume) range is 9.0 - 12.6fL, those of us with ITP have more large ( immature), platelets than normal patients. Check out this site educational section for more information.
