Well had a few issues with my vision recently so went and had an eye test . To be told that I have cataracts in my eyes 👀 cause by the steroid treatment I have been having for my ITP!! So far this condition has cost me a job I loved, my mobility and now my eye sight !!!!

Ellaco,

Your situation is genuinely tragic. What is the point of being treated when the result is that everything one values disappears? Like you, I can’t really work and am often stuck at home.

Will you be able to have the cataracts removed? Please let us know how you are doing.

I to have the start of cataracts in both eyes, I went to the optician with blurred vision, is due to the steroids high dose for 3 months I took when my ITP was discovered 2 years ago.
