Hi Betti, I was diagnosed June 1 at 69. After treatment I have so far had normal counts and they have me coming in once a month so I am hoping they stay normal but I guess it is usually a lifelong management issue. There are a few people who never have another issue but I guess it doesn't happen that often. There are many people on this site who can offer encouragement and support and help answer questions. I wish you the best.
