Eltrombopag tablets

Hi there l have been on the drug eltrombopag for 18 months. First starting at 75mg but now on 25mg. This has been a life saver for me. Tried all the other drugs with no good results, but eltrombopag was great. Give it a try - good luck.

Hello Poetsister,

Thanks for your post. You say that Eltrombopag is great, what was your count before and by how much did your platelets go up. Any side effects?

Hi there my counts were as low as 4 at the beginning. I started on 75mg and gradually reduced the dose to 25mg.after two years. My last count was 211. Back again in two weeks for further tests. Had no side effects. Hope it works for you. Cheers.
