Is headache a side effect of the tab Azathioprine and Dapsone

Heyyyy folks... This is my 8th month of dealing with this disorder ITP and for the past week I'm having a very bad headache and nausea feeling and too much tiredness. Is this the side effect of the tablet that I'm taking?

I was given Dapsone as one of my treatments but I don't remember it giving me a headache at the time. I  was still on a high dose of Prednisone and also took Dexmethasone so these 2 drugs tendered to over rule everything else in terms of side effects. Has the Dapsone had any effect on your blood oxygen levels as mine dropped a little while I was on it.

Hi robert thank you so much for ypur response. Im yet to do my test go check on that. How long are you dealing with ITP? Are you still on meds?

My first experience with ITP finished in November 2014 and I have been medication free since then and maintained a normal count.

Dats good news Robert. How long hav u been with it? What med brought it back to normal?

I thankfully only had ITP for 9 months and it was NPlate (Romiplostim) that eventually put me into remission.

Oh my bad... The doctor told me to take Azoran 75mg per day but I misunderstood n took 75mg morning and 75mg night for 4 days... Is it okie? Will it give any side effects?

You should contact your doctor, as you've taken twice as much as you were suppose to.  I've never been on it, but if you're taken too much, you really should check w/your doctor.  Good luck!

Hi Esmeralda after taking aza for 4 days the only thing I got was pancreatitus  I don't take any meds had splenectomy failed my platelets fluctuate, as long as you don't bleed you can live with itp
