Disturbed sleep with low platelets.

When my sons platelets are low he seems to have trouble sleeping. He is only two so well aware it could just be him, but I'm beginning to wonder if anyone else suffers with sleep issues when they have low platelets.

Hi, my son had itp from 22m, luckily recovering fully around 3/4 months later. During the illness his levels averaged about 10, and he struggled a lot with sleeping completely dropping naps and was very restless at night so much so we moved him to a travel cot in our room as we were worried he would hurt himself when we wernt there. I think it was due to him not being able to run around and I know it made him quite drowsy so he never fully switched of at night, for us it was definitely the illness almost immediately he slept fine once well x

My daughter had a very difficult time sleeping at that age when her plts were low. Im not sure if it is just from not feeling well and being young. The getting to sleep has gotten better as she has gotten older but the fatigue has gotten worse. Everybody has a little different way of dealing with how they feel but I remember how hard it was to get her to sleep and to stay asleep at that age once she was diagnosed
