Hi everyone 🙂

I've just joined

Have had all tests done & all seems to be in great working order

Diagnosis "Unexplained infertility"

Now being referred for Ivf

Not sure how I feel about going forward

But have had an emotional evening, overwhelmed maybe, annoyed that there's no definitive answer I suppose

I asked about Clomid & was told your only offered that if your not ovulating

I'm new to this & assumed it was the 1st thing given, as I've heard alot of stories from people , that this was all they needed for that kick-start

Would appreciate your knowledge on any of this 🙂

'Unexplained' is tough, hun, I'm sorry. Just wanted to share a thing. With a deficiency of active, functioning mitochondria in eggs, even a healthy embryo does not take and the pregnancy does not occur. In this case, successful IVF is possible with using donor mitochondria only. Mitochondria replacement therapy is also called the “three parents method”. This procedure is based on the transplantation of mitochondria from a female donor into an egg cell of a patient who wants to become pregnant. Healthy donor mitochondria are integrated with the patient’s cells, fertilized. After this a healthy embryo is placed in the woman’s uterus. This technology is also an alternative to surrogacy. It enables families to have genetically healthy children. Since the mitochondrial donation uses the egg of a donor, which does not contain defective mitochondria. The method is also recommended for women with a high probability of the development of mutations in mitochondrial DNA and subsequent severe illnesses in an unborn baby. Taking all this into consideration, mitochondrial donation helps barren women not only to become mothers, but also exclude a number of genetic diseases. We used BTC in Kiev. It is currently actively using the therapy. 6500 EUR - 1 att with mitochondrial replacement. 9900 EUR - 2 att. 14900 EUR - 5 att. For more details just visit their site –they’ve got all the packages available in pdf.

If any further questions – feel free to ask.
