dad is in icu

My dad is in End stage liver failure he’s been in icu for 3 days he is now off of sedation doctors are optimistic and say he stands a chance . He’s opening his eyes when bieng spoken to but apart from that still pretty out of I’m not sure how long after bieng taken off sedation he should be responding properly ?

it can take some time to come round in ICU and it depends on the person as Sepsur says everyone is different. I hope things go well.

sedation holds in my moms system for extremely long time. She ended up waking up. Keep faith!
