Hi

My dad recently come home after 3 weeks, 6 days on life support. He’s having trouble sleeping, I’ve asked if he’s having weird dreams or anything like that which he says no, he just can’t sleep but he says he is really tired. He has also been complaining about burning feet, he says they’re uncomfortable hot. Does anyone have any hints or tips for either?

thanks in advance

have a look at the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy- what helped me was a combination of vitamin b1, b6 & b12 & magnesium

Interestingly one of the side effects of magnesium deficiency is insomnia.

Hints for sleeping - no screen time an hour before sleep - get room as dark as possible, don’t smoke, drink caffeine ( obvious) drink alcohol ( less obvious) a few hours before sleep - have a warm drink and keep bedroom slightly cooler.
