Hi there

Please advise.

My mum is 4 weeks into critical care after sepsis when she had gall bladder removed. Mum has had two laparoscopic surgeries and survived. Currently on tracky wean. Could make full recovery.

My sister has completely rejected me three months ago when I experienced my first psychotic episode. I went to my sister for support but she failed me. My sister has me down as an abuser and won’t cooperate with me. We need her help for my mum. My sister is a Doctor herself but has adjustment disorder. I don’t believe she is thinking rationally and simply wants me out of the family at this terrible time.

How can I get my sister to see sense and cooperate?

I wish you all the best with getting cooperative support for your Mum - critical illness puts extraordinary pressure onto a family - is there anyone who can act as a mediator between you both?
