Well after fighting numerous clots this year (here I refer not only to blood but Doctors too!), two strokes, intestinal bleeding, being in a coma, heart valve disease and chronic pain from osteoporosis and arthritis. I now have another unknown quantity to deal with – I’ve just been diagnosed with Atrophic Endometrium – which basically means that I will now probably need a hysterectomy to fight the cancerous growths that have been discovered in the lining of my uterus. Hey ho is there anything else waiting to hit me out there? Sorry to sound so negative but I’m really struggling to stay optimistic at the moment. I guess I’m just having an off day! Moan over folks – thanks for listening xxx

Sorry to hear about your ;plight, really I am and on a positive note... due to where this is located it is probably only localized and once out is gone...and actually you may feel an awful lot better after the shock of it all both physically and emotionally. I hope all your relatives and friends can pull out the stops for you. I am sending you positive vibes for a better 2013. Mary F x

Thanks Mary. I agree with you. I'm a great believer in if you don't need it, and it doesn't work, then get rid!! And hopefully I will have a better quality of life afterwards as you quite rightly say. xxx

I am sorry to hear about all your problems. I do hope that the surgery goes well for you. I do know they can do it without an incision these days which is so much less invasive. I hope you have a good team of docs helping you. X

Hi hon,

So sorry you're going through this on top of everything else. I too had to go through the hysterectomy although for different reasons, it took a while to get over, but as APsnotfab says attitude does help, I remember getting told off for walking twice as far as I was supposed too, oooops never was any good at doing what I'm told.

I hope surgery goes well hon, keep in touch and let us know how you're doing.

Take care gentle hugs love Sheena xxxxx :-) :-) :-)

Inspain, I to had a cancer scare in 1993. They grade you 1,2,3 and 4 is cancer, I was 3.5. They wanted to do a hystrotomy, but I wanted another child ( I was only 24). I had one child and really wanted another. They were able to get all the cancerous cells off my cervix through surgery and I was able to have another child.

Know they can do laproscpy surgery with little to no cutting.

Good luck and keep us posted. :)

Thanks for all your kind words. I'm feeling much brighter again today. I am now waiting for another biopsy which will determine my course of treatment. I think I will feel better when I actually know how we move forward from this. Love to you all from here InSpain xxx
