Hi to all

I have been reading on site about others with INR testing.

My question is:-

Do you have to be on Warfarin to have your INR checked?

an INR test is used to evaluate the effectivness of warfarin in your system. When you test not on warfarin a normal result should be 1

Are you asking with regard to that new blood thinner on the market? Pradaxa? I read that INR tests are not needed with pradaxa because the thinning effects of pradaxa can not be measured accurately. So, is this "no INR needed" thing good? or bad? I have no idea.
