Or is it like blueish mottling of the skin?

Blueish patches on my face. They are not bruises. My GP says he is sure it is from the plaquinal. I have a lupus book that says plaquinal can change the pigment of your skin. My Rheumy and Dermatologist says it's not true.

The attached site states a side effect to be skin changing colour to blue/black - antibiotics.emedtv.com/plaq...

Hope you find this in some way helpful

I take Mepacrine (allergic to Plaquenil) and have blue marks on my legs black spots somewhere on my eyes which the optician can see and blue/black ridges on my nails. The consultant says these are all due to mepacrine deposits.
