Will an MRI of the pelvic area reveal the tiny micro-clots which some suspect of causing arthritis-like joint pain in Hughes patients?

I have heard Gina, that micro clots are not always revealed in scans... but I hope that perhaps if they know more what they are looking for, then perhaps the scan will be read in more detail. Best of luck if this is what you are off to do. Mary F x

Thanks so much for the answer. Actually, I've already had an MRI of the pelvic area, and the results were called "non significant," (or some such.) I see a neurologist next week -- the same neurologist who first suspected Hughes as the culprit after my first series of TIAs/ mini strokes prior to my diagnosis. Here's hoping.

Good on the neurologist... for this, and there are plenty of papers on the Hughes Syndrome Foundation Website... which may be of interest to them and yourself. Best wishes..... Mary F x
