Says no range available as they have changed the way they measure them?

Hospital and private labs don’t always use the same units for measurement. This makes comparisons confusing unless the doctor knows what units are being used.

It sounds like this lab is changing the way they measure units.

IMHO, ask your doctor because no one here will have the answer you require.

With good wishes,

Ros

Yes you need clear reference ranges, most doctors will discuss this. MaryF

Mine are ususally easy to decipher as they give the actual level followed by what it should (range) and they will also put HIGH or LOW although with my Anti B2 glycoprotein IgG it didn't have the range it just said HIGH. No one saw fit to retest me as is recommended 12 weeks later. Literally, about 2 years later my GP insisted and she ordered the test fully expecting to be told it had to be through rheumatology but the result came back after about 3 weeeks I think and the level was still *HIGH*.

I take a daily aspirin for it. Although like you I'm in the dark becasue I also have low platelets. Not very low, and after some research and looking back at symptoms and advice fromthe moderator for Lupus on here, I put it to the back of my mind until at a hospital appointment for bruising and purple spots I was told I had ITP... just seems to be one thing after another.

You presently are serum negative for APLs. However if you have had two previous positives AND a proven clotting event you would still have an APS diagnosis and likely warrant treatment. If you never had an evident clot then most specialist would not advise anticoagulants at this point. My Hematologist no longer even tests for APLs after the first two positives found post strokes.
