Hi Markgammon06,

No diagnosis can be made from a picture as rashes can look the same.

Please go to your GP who May ask for blood tests & a referral. Never seek medical advice on line! Not even on HU!

With good wishes,

Ros

Hi there, if I were you I would keep the photograph and either email to GP or ring the for an appointment, it could be anything even an allergy but you need a medical professional in the picture. Obviously it is helpful if people say they have had similar or what it could be, however any new symptom always needs to be flagged up to GP or specialist. I have learnt so much from the various forums on HU that have at times pointed me in the right direction but not at the expense of a medical opinion. Let us know when you get some answers. I have had two episodes of rashes on my neck, one was a change of shampoo, the other was a brief change of washing powder, neither Livedo Reticularis related. MaryF

Hi Mark, impossible to say, loads of questions that really only your GP should ask? I think at one time or another we have all had a skin issue that we want answers for, for my part, it is similar to what I get after a shower or bath, as strangely I get alergy from water! But mine goes away.

Please keep photos and send across yo your GP, always worth investigating and getting reassuring answers.

It really depends on the diagnoses, only a docter can look at the cause and treatment.
