Yes, but prior to anti phospholipid antibody test being run. ( that one should have been run, but wasn’t.)

I was already under the care of my diagnosing Rheumatoligist for suspected lupus like syndrome and sky high Rheumatoid factor, and a few other flags, as well as failing organs.

Hi,

I hope I understand your question correct now;

I live in Sweden and I am triplepositive to APS incl Lupus Anticoagulant (LA) which is not Lupus (the illness also called SLE) but one of the three bloodtests they do to find out if you have got APS.

We call Lupus (the illness) for SLE here.

I have been tested for the ANA -analysis after i was diagnosed APS. The test may show a lot of positive antibodies for several autoimmun illnesses included Sjögrens syndrome (anti-SSA and anti-SSB). Important also if it is a low titer of anti-DNA, which can also mean other autoimmun illnesses. Difficult to diagnose these illnesses so better have a knowledable Specialist!
