Severe ITCHING

i HAVE BEEN TAKING clopidogrel after a heart attack and found it cured my

migraines practically. However, I itched so severely with it that I reduced it to a half a tablet which was better for a couple of months but now the migraines are coming back, 5 a month so far, and some itching. Does anyone know anything that is so good against migraines but doesn't make you itch, or, alternatively, anything that stops the itch. Would be very grateful.

HI, do you have a diagnosis for Hughes Syndrome/APS? As this forum is specifically for this autoimmune disease. If not I do suggest you are tested as the clue is in the Aspirin making a difference to your migraines, also not unusual for us lot to have drug reactions, some have to take antihistamines tablets. I enclose the charity website: ghic.world/ You will find the 3 blood tests on there that need doing by your GP. Also the website carries a list of consultants across the world and UK who fully understand the condition. Our forum, over to the right under pinned posts, has UK specialists only. At least if you test you can rule it in or out.

Most who arrive at this sort of crossroads also test their levels of D, B12, Iron and their Thyroid as often these things if deficient in any area worsen things.

Thanks for the reply. I was diagnosed 20 years go with water

melon stomach, it bleeds, an auto immune thing. Also have

migraines which the Clopidogrel (anti clumping) held at bay

but made me itch intolerably. Anti histamines als0 give me

migraines so I sneezed my way through the summer.
