No Period for over a year?

Hi all just woundering if any1 can help i got my dianosis around 4 years ago after dvt and pe. My periods before was sometimes scattered like 3 months apart. Then afterwards its continued then it was longer in between untill nothing. I haven't had one for over a year now. My flow never changed with or without my medication normally light lasting for 4 days. Am not pregnant! Am 28 an was thinking early menopause not sure have appointment booked with gp but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys

Hi, it is hard to say what is going on here, however one condition which sometimes gets missed if it is not that severe is PCOS, (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), this can cause weight gain, insulin resistance and a scanty menstrual pattern, my own daughter appears to have this. MaryF

I agree with MaryF. The PCOS May have a distant connection with APS. Dr Charles Glueck in Cincinnati, now retired, who diagnosed me in 1996 also published on PCOS and Legg Perthes avascular necrosis of hip bone in children and other issues. Maybe it’s just that he is an endocrinologist.

Hi hun, may be worth getting your gp check your prolactin levels if your period Has stopped to rule out pituitary problems, I have this aswell as aps and now it's controlled, goodluck x

Thanks am gona have a read up see what else b4 i see my gp next week. I do have pcos but last scan showed no cyst so hopefully will find out soon xx
