I think the main thing for me is to alter my water habit, which is fairly good anyway, however of course I have more in warmer weather, as it is important with our condition to stay hydrated. MaryF

As Mary says, I have to be careful I don't get dehydrated, I go down hill very quickly which in turn makes my blood thick. I up my water intake.
I ask because I get really bad in hot weather, I'm dizzy like several times a day, I get weak, get more headaches. And before I was diagnosed I just thought it was my Dysautonomia causing it and so did my neurologist.
I always thought my INR would be lower in the hot weather but it works the other way with me, I have tested it over years holidays etc
Hot weather doesn’t suit me
High INR makes me feel anxious and I have problems with words etc sometimes it’s difficult to tell the difference if my INR is high or low, I can tell 99% of the time it’s out of range
Yes hot weather makes my blood thicker .
Yes, I drink water. Also, I must be aware of magnesium and potassium intake — when hiking in hot weather I must have bananas and gatorade!
