Could irregular heart beat be associated with Hughes syndrome ?

Hello, any new symptom needs to be checked sooner, rather than later by your GP and or specialist. It is not unusual to have AF alongside our main condition Hughes Syndrome/APS. I would be going along quite quickly to the GP.

I might also add that my under active thyroid, (not picked by the NHS), due to over reliance on the TSH test, seemed to cause night time palpitations, all this went almost straight away once on the right thyroid medication.

Thank you Mary I have already been to see my cardiologist more ECG s carried out and he said They were fine but this is hard to catch I was reading somewhere that there is a link between this and a p s syndrome. Will send you on info .thanks Sile

Yes POTS, also AF and as mentioned perhaps a hidden thyroid disorder, all can cause problems. MaryF
