Thanks Mary, I just read the whole article. So interesting and easy to follow too.
Read whole article, this is a keeper. I have been asking for this, thanks for putting this on, Cindy in NJ edgewater100
Very informative, especially the bit about possible triggers.
Good read. Simple and useful, thanks, Cindy
Great link and info. Thank you!
Excellent reading
Thank you! I had ,” probable caps” at 18 months of age in association with my immune thrombocytopenia purpura. More likely classified as M-APS.
Was not expected to live for about three weeks.
I’m now 48.5, so Hughes Syndrome was unknown then. My doctors now theorize the massive steroids for the ITP helped turn it around.
Thanks for posting. My son was just diagnosed a few months ago also . ( at age 15) so very useful info.
So glad you are ok.
Now there’s a story! Thank you
Dallas/ Ft.Worth. I was placed in a pediatric cancer ward- leukemia. They did know it was thrombocytopenia, but back then the I stood for idiopathic, not immune.
When I was first diagnosed in 1995 after a hospital admission...TIA i now realise my treatment commenced based on a ‘hunch’ from the consultant immunologist.
Did you already have a diagnosis of APS? If not, then that consultant immunologist needs the Nobel prize for being the most intiitive immunologist on Earth. Well, either way. Very in tune physician. Who is this physician? Based in... London?
