Hi I think I'm having a flare up of autoimmune diseases! For 5 days now I've had bodyaches all over! Even my armpits! No pain medicine helps me! Years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia! Cud it be I do have that along with RA, Sjogrens, && APS! I can't stand this flulike bodyaches! It's worse at night! I still have my mouth sores and getting more! Not a happy camper, too busy to lay in bed!!! GODSPEED!!!

Does anyone get these bodyaches! Shud I see a doctor? What doc do I go to?

I know exactly what u mean I live with them daily. Almost too much to bear.

I have lupus sjogrens aps fibro 4 prolapsed discs heart condition (Long QT) and I never know what causes what.

I had major stroke in 2011 and wasn't diagnosed with aps until probably a year after ! But on run up to my stroke even though it was in June I felt like I had serve flue . I was having lots of hot baths to relieve the muscle aches etc. But ever time I mentioned this to any expert of aps syndrome they all ways say that they have never heard of any body having these problems just before having a stroke .?

I suffer with a lot of flue like aches and pains and I'm now on hydrocloxaquine and azathoiprine which at first seemed to help a lot but especially this weekend have been in a lot of pain still.are you on any medication for the pain ? Good luck 👍

The headaches are unbearable too! My rib cage feels like the air being crushed out of me!!!

I have the Fibromyalgia along with RA and APS etc.hydroxychlorine has helped alot but I still get exactly as you describe flu like aches at times.It's hard to describe but I often think I'm having a flare up then week later am ok.Hope that's your case too.I also worry If my INR is too low or high so I get it checked more frequent when like that.Doesn't seem to follow pattern thou.I hope yours does get better but still get yourself checked over

Hi Fra,

Do I remember wrong but do you have Hypothyroidosis as well as RA and APS? You know that Fibromyalgia can often be wrong diagnosed with those three other autoimmun illnesses.

If so I hope the TSH T3 and T4 and other tests are ok today. Mary knows this very well and often spoke of how important it is to have those bloods at a high level.

I had also bad aches yesterday. This is a curious illness we all have together.

Debb I don't remember if you live in a State that allows medical marijuana. I have body aches and pains pretty bad. I know some of it is from the tick bite. Just about every muscle aches and narcotics only help a little. I recently bought some CBD topical cream and it helped more than narcotics. Only lasts about 3-4 hours and then re-apply more.

Have you checked out your thyroid yet, beyond the TSH test which is unreliable! I have to pay for mine! MaryF

No thyroid problems! But the bodyaches bad! Just came off hi dosages of steroids! I'm in agony! It starts around 4pm then keeps going all night ! No painkiller helps! Shud I see a doctor or is it fruitless cuz they won't know anyway???

Have you come off the steroids too quickly?

Youve lived with this desease long enough to probably know more than the docs?! But having just got over a severe asthma attack, it may be worth getting medical help now?

Yes the went from 40 mg to zero! I thought too fast! That's probably what it is! When I get theses pains my lungs feel funny! Breathing hurts cuz it's all around my ribs and chest and arms! My spinal chord too!!!

I live in New York State don't think we get medical marijuana here! Live love to NYC! Very strict laws here! I find it waste of time to c any doctor cuz they won't know and can't help me! I no I sound stubborn, but I'm so sick of their stupid answers!!! Lol... I'm hoping this too shall pass! GODSPEED!!!
