First time posting so please bare with me. I was diagnosed with APS 3 yrs ago after 2 PE's which caused cardiac arrest. Also diagnosed with lupus in 2001. I was just curious to know if anyone else has been put on Lovenox, I give myself 80mg shots every 12 hrs. Thank you in advance for any input or opinions on Lovenox for treatment of APS.

Hi, there are a few on here on the same medical regime as you, and I am sure they will answer you at some point. It sounds like you had a decent diagnosis, hope you have a good specialist. MaryF
I have been on 80 mg/day of Lovenox since 2008. To me, 80 mg every 12 hours seems like a lot. (I am not a physician.)
I've been on 80mg 2x's a day before. That was what my former hematologist prescribed. then, my current one has prescribed 100mg once a day. I take Coumadin daily to manage my anticoagulation and only go on Lovenox before and after a procedure.
Desperate please help!
