Does anyone else have Granuloma annul... - Hughes Syndrome A...
Does anyone else have Granuloma annulare a benign skin condition. It is caused by a autoimmune reaction and thought it might be related.
Yes I do. On warfarin, I have a clot in my subclavian
Poor you. I had clots on Warfarin too. I feel much better on Fragmin than I did on Warfarin.
Where are you from and who manages your condition?
Dave
I had a bit of a search around for you regarding autoimmune in general and this was rather interesting, eje.org/content/145/1/101.f... MaryF
From NYC my GP manages my condition. I also visit a cardio vascuaar surgeon once a year for the clot.
Hi PGNYC,
I had never heard of it till I read your post. Quickly googled, and would say yes, I have / have had, and had really bad episode last sept, whereby my entire right ankle was covered, and as my right light is my 'bad' leg it was very badly swollen and I was unable to walk on it, I was prescribed a few different ointments to try and cure, and eventually it cleared up, I have been left with bad scaring, the DX varied from excemza infection to leg ulcer, steroids internal and external have helped, and when it flares I apply lotion and eases. I am currently seeing a haemotologist ( next appt later this week) and a dermatologist, sadly I didn't find him very helpful.
I don't know if any of this helps with your question though??.
