Taking Ribaroxaban myself since November and had the same question but bloods are measured totally different than when on warfarin
I self tested and panicked when my INR was very low so it was explained to me by the Ribaroxaban nurse at my haemo clinic in St Thomas
Hope that helps
Take care
My son was on rivaroxaban following a DVT. He had to be off it for at least a week before he could have another test for Apls. He went back on hep injections during that week. Hope that helps.
It affects the tests the same as if you were taking warfarin ie. you can test for the anticardiolipin and anti-beta1-glycloprotein2 tests, but not the lupus anticoagulant. However, St Thomas' can test on LA for people on warfarin by using the rare Taipei Snake Venom Test (one of Prof Beverley Hunt's favourites) so please do ask Prof Khamashta while you're there. It would be good if you could let us know the outcome for future reference - thanks.
