I am sooo happy for you Roy!!!

Just doing my DLA at the moment It has taken me two days so far just to fill in the pages on Medications and Doctors attended in the past 12 months!! Filling in the dam application is enough to MAKE you disabled.......you should get an award for just doing itLOL!! :-)

i have been refused DLA for myself i havent got the energy to appeal, my son has just come out of plaster due to mobility probs, delayed development etc we have just come out of hosp due to lumbar puncture and every day is a battle for us, congratulations Roy for being strong enough to stand up to them x

Kaysie, I do understand how you feel about not fighting and having the strength but not fighting is what they want you to do !!

I would suggest with a slight nudge to see the Citizen Advice team in your area if you wanto talk more message me am happy to give you help

Hi, All.

Congrats, Roy!

Here in Oz we have a similar set-up with the Dept, of Employment etc, also known as Centrelink.

These good people (LOL) have the responsibility of granting and controlling pensions.

We will have a review soon, and my daughter is fretting about the outcome. but I told her that as a diagnosed APS patient . she should have no problems convincing them of the need for continuing financial and medical support.

We shall see.

Thanks

Wayne L.
