Hi all

Because of the transplant I have to have regular blood tests done at the renal transplant clinic in Guy's hospital. Guy's is only 20 minutes across London from my office but over one and a half hours from home!

I really just want to sing their praises! Last Tuesday I was in and out (bloods only) within 10 minutes and on my way to a Client meeting that started at 9am!! I really want to mention Anne Marie the cheerful phlebotomist who realised that I always came in early so prep-ed for me and Diane the lovely lovely receptionist for always making sure the bloods are ordered and that whoever needs my notes has them! They both always remember me, smile and make friendly chit-chat! Really takes the edge off what is essentially a chore! They are wonderful (in fact so are the vast majority of Guy's staff, especially the renal transplant team)!

Ha ha - the plan would have worked perfectly if the London Tubes hadn't got stuck with a faulty door so I arrived at my meeting 20 minutes late!!!

Take care

Tx

By the way, not sure if I ever mentioned that Tx in my hosptial circles means transplant - I do love double meanings.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Tx
