Acute HIV infection is the initial stage of this virus. Acute HIV infection develops 2-4 weeks after HIV infection. This is also called primary HIV infection. When we are exposed to acute HIV infection, the virus continues to increase in the blood. When we are exposed to HIV, our immune system normally produces antibodies to fight it. When there are not enough antibodies to fight HIV, you enter the early stages of HIV.

Symptoms of acute HIV infection are:

• Sore throat.

• Muscle ache

• Swollen lymph nodes

Chronic HIV infection:

Chronic HIV infection is the stage of infection between acute HIV infection and AIDS. At this stage, HIV levels continue to rise. When chronic HIV is under control, it can prevent your body from entering the third stage, namely AIDS. Chronic HIV infection is also called secondary HIV infection. With chronic HIV infection, the virus attacks the tissues and cells of our body.

Symptoms of chronic HIV infection are:

• Chronic diarrhea

• Recurrent fever

• Weakness

Here are some medicines for HIV infection on Gandhi medicos website (gandhimedicos.in):

Abakast-L, Naivex, Spegra 30, Alltera, Lamipure 130, Instrgra 90 tab

Thank you
