That's exactly the same as me my doctor doesn't know weather it's side effects from my medication that's causing my fatigue and insomnia or if it's the hiv itself or weather it's because I'm depressed and my mental health isn't coping with the news that I'm HIV he's put me in antidepressants and counselling to see if it is my mental health if not it's my medication I'm just on here to find people on the same medication I am and see if they have the same side effects and what options they've been given to resolve it as the antidepressants and counselling isn't working for me

For me I was so tired the first 6 months and my doctor was telling me it was depression or possibly the medication and my body adjusting, I can say that my energy levels have come back to nomad after a year and a half, but I did start an exercise regime to get me out of depression it really saved me, I know it's hard going to exercise when your depressed but it does work if you keep at it, think I would still be exhausted also thinking about food, I feel straight after diagnosis you need to focus on the basics food drink exercise and then you can slowly get back to yourself

I do exercise on a regular basis because of my job and past of being over weight but that wipes me out now even doing simple exercise or tasks I'm not over weight anymore I'm slim now but it's hard for me to have energy to do day to day things

Yeah one of my best friends lied to me saying he was hiv undetectable when actually after he got is undetectable results he started taking his medication wrong by missing doses or using illegal substances what affected his medication which then made him spike and become detectable again and slept with me unprotected as I was under the influence of alcohol and that he was undetectable when that wasn't the case because of him being uncaring and not taking his medication correctly and using illegal substances which effected his meds

Only a few selected family members know due to other family members age and image and time of where hiv and aids started they think it's the end of the world so I've only told family members who aren't like that
