That’s why I have anxiety for hiv

This is why I got stressed because of the marks on my overbody. I’m so afraid I have been near a syringe that has hiv on it. Does this look like a syringe sticks? The doctors says no, but I’m not shure. It took like a week before it disappear. I don’t have any jobs or activity there I have higher risk. The health stations don’t want to take tests on me.

Hi Loubbis , The doctors do not want to test you because you already had 22 negative tests . You do not have HIV . You have a mental health disorder that needs treating . Sorry to be blunt , but that's how it is .

I agree with Griffon and Galen.I wish I could talk and help ease your anxiety.

I think Loubbis you need specialist counseling about HIV anxiety. If you are genuinely in Norway as your profile states, HIV rates are low in that country. You haven't specified any significant at risk event. You have tested negative. You are showing us a picture of broken skin, and wondering if it was a needlestick injury. You would know if you had such an injury. And even if you had a needlestick injury, the risk of transmission is minimal. You need to focus on sorting out your anxiety .

Thanks. Yes I live in Norway. I didn’t take any hiv test after late October, and that mark came in December. So I’m so worried. Haven’t had sex since August and that was protected.

If you had a HIV blood test 45 days after sex, you are negative. If you continue to be anxious, you need to discuss that anxiety with a professional.

Ok. It was around 11-12 weeks after exposure I tested negative.

200% that you are negative then

But suddenly the mark on my finger came and then I started worried again. The doctor didn’t want to exam me.

It's a mark on your finger. It's months after you had a negative HIV test . So its not related to HIV in any way.

Yes, but I thought it could be syringe stick exposure. It’s not a good picture, you have to zoom in. I’m trying to relax and watch a movie.

I think that's a good idea. 👍

The logical side of the brain says if this was serious the doctors would have tested me when I got that mark on my finger.

Its almost gone now. It came on Sunday and is almost gone now. So it can’t be that?

Cant be what ? a needlestick injury or HIV ? no to both of those.

Was with my doctor and they wouldn’t test me. I’m going to log off this site and trying to graduate and try to have a great life. I don’t know how I should got hiv from. Because I don’t do drugs or having lots of unprotected sex. I hate anxiety and it’s ruining me. I have dealt with this for over 2 years now.

More likely to be the Norwegian variet of scabies if it’s all over your body. See your GP or a dermatologist?

Norwegian scabies is super rare

Chrissuffolk profile image

Well being positive after testing negative after 12 weeks following protected sex is rarer still. One might say impossible so anything else is more likely isn’t it?

This happened after I tested negative. Last time I checked myself was in the end at October. I haven’t had sex since August. But the doctor won’t test me.

Galen70 profile image

that's because you are negative.

It is starting to go away now after three four days. I used a shower gel with alcohol and sulfate in it and other stuff and a body scrub with same ingredients. Can be that? I have sensitive skin.

Look if you had a HIV rash it would be because you had a lot of the virus and it was your immune system using your skin as part of its response. If you had a lot of the virus you would not test negative would you?

I was going on Pep in August because I had protected sex and got stressed. I took a test in October/ November and it was negative. Can The result be false because I used prep two- three month earlier?

Galen70 profile image
Galen70 in reply to Loubbis

PREP or PEP ? regardless of what you used, if you had a negative HIV test 45 days or longer after what you are worried about , you are negative.

Loubbis profile image
Loubbis in reply to Galen70

Yes. But this happened after I took my last hiv test. And after that came the “rash” that last for 3 days. I don’t have any symptoms. The doctor doesn’t want to test me neither do the sex clinic because of my history.

I’m afraid that syringe mark or what it is on my finger is reason why I have rash. That’s the only possible way I can have got hiv. But the doctor said it didn’t look like a syringe or needle injury

I really hope it doesn’t look like a syringe stick. I’m so worried

Looks more like COVID-19 than HIV rash to me.Please do a COVID-19 testing to keep yourself busy and focus on other things.
