I don't know why I am writing this but I just learnt that my CD4s went up from 180 to 318 after 28 days on treatment with Truvada/Prezista/Norvir. I believe that's a good sign isn't it?
I have no idea about my viral load which was 104000, I'll have that after 3 months on treatment (that's one month from now).
Thank you all for your support, the last 3 months have been so very dramatic for me! The initial shock, the waiting for a treatment, the second shock when my private lab tests came out bad and my desperation when I couldn't find anyone to treat me before my scheduled appointment 45 days later, all the terrifing things I read about Iris, opportunistic infections, drugs and side effects, my isolated way of life for prophylaxis and so many little important agonies inbetween.
During all that, you've been my main (if only) source of hope and support and I thank you for that.
This is going to be a long difficult journey my friends. I hope we do it together.

We are delighted to hear that your T-cell (CD4) went up and aim sure it will continue to go up. You should be proud of yourself. keep taking the drugs are prescribed by your Dr.
VL should hopefully go below 50 (undetectable)
I agree with you I found the initial shock very hard and we could collapse but by getting the support from friends or family or fellow online guys who have similar situations we could not really cope.
I have built friendships with two great guys (mainly) which I would love to meet one day. We have shared our stories. We have been supporting each other….etc and I could not be any happier.
Keep up the hard work man and I wish you all the very best and more great news to come.
Hey that's so good! I remember talking with you about all that hard stuff. I'm really glad to hear you're headed out of the woods!
I've been on meds myself now for about 2 months and have my doctors appointment next Monday and should hear how my viral load is progressing-cd4 is luckily already good, but I'd like to know the VL is going down
