Hep C test

Hi there I read on this website which is a local NHS remote sexual health testing service for Northern Ireland that Hep C can take up to 9 months to be detected in a test? Is this correct? On another page on this same site it says up to 6 months. I have also reached out to them to ask about this issue and to tell them they've got conflicting info on their website. I had a blood test in a GUM clinic in person for Hep C and I wondered if the same applied to this?
