hep c marker

I had treatment for hep c I have the marker wondering will they take my body for research with the marker? Just wondering with all my medical issues and family not having the pigmentation in our bodies I’m just want my body to have it researched

Hi there, there should be no issue with that at all, but it may be that things are different in the US than in the UK, so I'm not sure of the process or their specific requirements so you may want to check that with the medical research team directly, I understand this may vary across different states. Once treated you are no longer infectious, and I would have thought it would be additionally interesting to researchers that you have had hep C.
