I was diagnosed in 2010,and wasn’t offered treatment at all.Went for a test recently again ,and the clinician said it was inactive ,and results were normal and would not put me on any medication. Any thoughts at all?

Hello, that’s great news and I’ve read in some cases that you can clear it by yourself, within 6mths I think, that’s why they wait at first before giving treatment, you obviously have done so and probably only had acute and not chronic. Did you do anything different over the years and did you feel well? Just think all that worry you lived with and you’ve been clear probably from 2010 🙏🏼😊
Hello Surjy,
Thanks for your response. My GP ,during consultation after the tests few months ago, said I am a chronic carrier, and needed every other member of my family tested .It was then he said ,my full blood count was okay and my results very normal .He subsequently referred me to a consultant ,who saw me last week ,and said it was inactive after reviewing my test results ,and wouldn’t place me on any medication as there are no concerns whatsoever.
