My Echo Results

So, had an echo last week done privately and I just got the results. It states that my mitral valves have become thickened. There is no stenosis, regurgitation - yet - and they are still mobile. I do however have a raised heart rate when moving about, and I am insanely breathless. 9 months ago, the leaflets were thin and everything was fine! What has happened in 9 months?! I'm so worried now about the future.

Your doctor needs to give you an explanation of the breathlessness. Thickened heart valves are common as we get older, I gather, although you don't give your age.
