I found out I have a-fib. only because my wife heart the beat when laying on my chest. Don't know how long I have had it and never felt it. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and trying to address it at this time. The heart doc put me on 25 mg of Metoprolol and it made my blood pressure too low. Now I am going to try half the dose. He also said to take 400mg of Magnesium Glycinate 2 times a day... Doesnt that seem like a lot. Plus you can not find any think that you don't have to take 3 big pills 3 times a day... yuk... any thoughts of how this is going to help... I have good blood pressure without meds that lower it?

Welcome to the Forum, sadly many individuals are unaware of having an arrhythmia and can often go undetected for some time. It really is so important that everyone should be aware that a simple pulse check could actually save your life! Have you visited the Arrhythmia Alliance or the AF Association websites, upon diagnosis of Atrial Fibrillation, I can recommend registering for the 'Living with... AF' patient educational event. The event is a series of presentations by some of the medical experts in the field of AF. To find out how to register for unlimited access to this free online event, follow the link: heartrhythmalliance.org/afa...
