can someone explain in laymen's term the attached? Also, how dangerous will general anesthesia be with my condition?

An anaesthetist may not want to anaesthetise you without a diagnosis of what is causing your heart rhythm issues.

Do you have any family history of heart issues?

I have many heart issues and have had general anaesthetic, but I have a pacemaker/ICD implanted which helps, as the anaesthetist knows my device will not let my heart rate go too slow (GA can slow the heart).

I have 2nd degree heart block and have had several general anaesthetics since diagnosis, not been a problem but I do have a pacemaker which makes the anaesthetist a bit more wary.

1st degree block is usually considered benign and no treatment needed unless symptomatic, as you say you have no symptoms then probably nothing to worry about.

So did your pacemaker activate during surgery to keep you alive then?

I’ve no idea what my pacemaker did but the anaesthetist would have managed everything and I’m sure didn’t let my rate go that low.
