Crackling when I inhale

Please help!! in the last three months I’ve been having fine crackling noises when I inhale or exhale in my upper part of my left lung closer to my troat chest area and I am start to panic specially at night when I’m ready to go to bed and I wake up tire and sometimes I feel shortness of breath does anybody can help me i’m making an appointment with my doctor ASAP thank you

I have that too when I lay down flat just before I go to sleep

I got an ablation due to an arrhythmia and my cardiologist said that I should start expecting less and less cracklings and he was right my ablation was done on 10/21/21 And my cracklings is almost gone In my case the doctor toll me that when the heart is not working correctly ( abnormal pumping)the lung star accumulating water or liquid and is the reason you hear cracklings in my case it was a heart problem but is many reasons why crackling occurred
