Heart rate post ablation.

I'm 5 weeks post ablation and getting regular 95-110 resting heart rate in SR but is making me edgy as was 65 pre ablation. dors anyone else experience an big increase in resting heart rate after ablation and hiw long did it last till it slowed. thanks

Having had three cardioversions and two ablations now, I still suffer from cyclical racing rate and irregular beats with no apparent specific trigger. I seem to be in a two weeks of normal and 5-7 days of erratic BPM cycle. I discussed with my heart surgeon who advised this is just what happens with AF and not to worry as millions of people have the condition and providing it is controlled with medication (thinners) there is nothing to worry about.
