6 months post ablation. All good.

Good news. I realised that today is 6 months since my ablation for SVT at Wythenshawe Hospital. I originally put off having an ablation but my symptoms got progressively worse so I bit the bullet so to speak and went for it. Best choice I ever made. I think I am now back to normal, difficult to say but certainly no issues and I can go out walking and cycling as before. Stay save everyone.

Good news indeed. I am just coming up to a year after mine, soooo nice not to have countless visits to A&E & have Adenosine conversions ! Best wishes.

I read the posts each day on the basis that every now and then someone may just benefit from my experience. Most seem to suffer from AF which thankfully I have no experience of.

Really helpful site though and I’m glad I found it. It is surprising how many (particularly older) people have heart related issues.

That's good to hear, I'm on urgent waiting list and a bit nervous. Thankfully I haven't had too many episodes lately as been on urgent list since beginning of January, I haven't been told its postponed but do expect a slow down as NHS copes with COVID-19

I was very nervous and originally said I didn't want an ablation (scared really) but now I've had it done I'd go again any time. I think SVT is easier to "cure" than AF though. Not that it is ever a full cure.

Congrats! I also hit six months earlier in April, and am feeling much better. The first few months after my ablation for SVT were a little bumpy, but I'm hoping that we have a smoother road ahead of us.
