I've had Atrial Flutter and A/Fib for about 2 years nows. I was on Bisoprolol , followed by Digoxin and now Diltiazem for the last four weeks. The Diltiazem has now stopped working (resulting in BP 157) and as its the Bank Holiday I can't get to see a GP. Is it ok to take a bisoprolol with the Diltiazem?

Hi Jean, I don’t have AF but have had arrhythmias since childhood, and they have also affected several members of my family. I am 74, and was diagnosed with mild coronary artery disease five years ago after a very bad episode of The Beats. My Cardio Dr prescribed Bisoprolol at first, then a year or so later I was having more episodes and he prescribed diltiazem along with Bisoprolol. They have helped me a lot. Hope you are having success with it also. Sherry.
