Palpitations and symptoms are worse when lying down trying to sleep

My palpitations and symptoms are worse when lying down trying to sleep. They improve when I'm up and about. Any reason for this does anyone know? It's frustrating as it's adding to my frequent insomnia.

Have you been to the drs? This is what I experienced and when I was chilled watching tv in the evening. I went to the drs after a while, had ecg, got referred to loads of diff people, 4 weeks ago at st. Georges hospital I got diagnosed with brugada syndrome, last tuesday i had an operation and was fitted with a ICD defibrillator, get seen asap
